PROPHETS

Muslims believe in all the prophets of Allah from Adam down to Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them all). All prophets are human, but they are the most perfect examples of what humans should be.
Muslims believe that Muhammad was the final prophet sent with the perfect, final and abiding Revelation, addressed to entire mankind and for all times. That Revelation, which recapitulates all former Revelations and thus sets a seal on the unuty of Religion, is ISLAM; the Scripture which enshrines it is the holy Qur’an.
Islam stands in sharp contrast with those religions which interpret the Salvation of man in terms of the acceptance of certain intricate and inexplicable formula. Wherever the Holy Qur’an mentions human salvation, it bases it on “right belief” as well as “righteous action”, emphasizing the former as the ground and the latteras the sequence.
